'Unintended Images' is a series of digital paintings based on Google’s image search. I use screenshots of search results, exploring the multiplicity of images within them. I draw inspiration from paintings, particularly those of Pieter Bruegel the Elder, that regardless their overcrowded aesthetics managed to retain a coherent composition. My work reflects on the inability of Google’s search results to be read as a coherent whole and attempts to introduce the coherence of a single image.
